It started as a fairy party but we had to do something to appease the boys and in the end it was much less dainty and much more "Neverland" and a whole lot of fun! Its actually a very fast set-up and mostly entails gathering things you or your neighbors may have tucked away in the garage. And the best part is that you can leave it set up for a few days if you like.
The big boxes we used for the Jolly Roger can be gotten for free from your local appliance dealer or mattress store. The kids can play in Mermaid lagoon, you could run the hose over the Crocodile Creek to make it like a slip'n'slide, and a water balloon fight to destroy the Jolly Roger will have even the dads involved.
Be sure to check out my guest post tomorrow over at Michelle's Tasty Creations. It's a post full of easy recipes to stretch your budget to the max. I think you will be surprised at how far this one goes! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
