Sugared-Almond Hand and Foot Scrub

A fun little gift to make for girlfriends, sisters and moms.  I found these cute little square containers at the pharmacy and the round ones in the travel-sized beauty section at Walmart.

Take 2 cups of white sugar, about 1/4 cup of olive oil, and about 1 tablespoon of almond extract and mix well.
If needed, add more almond extract until you get the scent you want.  Your mixture should be moist but not oily.

Pack loosely into your containers. Store in a cool dark place out of direct sunlight.

To use, wet hands or feet with warm water.  Take a small amount of the sugar scrub and work it all over your hands or feet for a couple of minutes.  Rinse.  You should be able to feel the smoothness from the olive oil but it should not be oily.  Great for those sandal feet and removing dirt from your cuticles after working in the garden!
